The story behind the illustrations
James Illustrates began with a love of maps, places and careful illustration. Each design is hand drawn and thoughtfully researched, capturing the small details that make each place distinctive and recognisable.
Rather than creating souvenirs, the aim is to produce illustrated pieces that feel considered and lasting, items customers are happy to use in their homes or give as thoughtful gifts. This approach allows the work to sit comfortably alongside well-curated homeware and gift collections.
