So much of Devons history is linked to the sea with Plymouth it's major port, a departure point for so many historic adventures, and Lundy becoming such a treasured home to wildlife. Devon is also home to many fine buildings that are rich in history and locations that have crept into our cultural vernacular through writing and film.

It has been fascinating to research and illustrate this rich and varied county. I definitely discovered it's not just Countryside, coastline and clotted cream"
